Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), operators of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2), has announced its official recognition as a corporate member of the Nigerian Red Cross Society.
The company said the milestone underscores it’s commitment to social responsibility and community well-being.
Speaking on the development, Nafisat Adeniran, Head of Safety, BASL said: “We are honored to partner with the Nigerian Red Cross Society, a globally recognized humanitarian organization,”.
Also speaking, acting Chief Operating Officer of the Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited, Remi Jibodu, added, “This collaboration will enable us to strengthen our contributions to emergency preparedness, disaster relief, and community support initiatives. At MMA2, we strive to be more than just an airport terminal; we are an integral part of the community we serve.”
As a corporate member, BASL said it will actively support and participate in various Red Cross programs, including First Aid Training, Disaster Preparedness, Community Health Programs, and Volunteerism.
While emphasising the importance of the partnership, a statement by Ajoke Yinka-Olawuyi, Head corporate communications for BASL, quoted Dr. Emmanuel Bassi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Red Cross Society as saying that , “First aid training is not just beneficial in the workplace but also in everyday life. Additionally, members will enjoy discounted rates for Red Cross programs”,.
Also present at the event were the Nigerian Red Cross Society’s Head of Training, Mr. Augu Goji, and Head of Business Development/Marketing, Temitope Ogunrinde.
