Britain’s giant carrier, British Airways (BA), has deployed B787-10 Dreamliner to the London-Lagos route.
This marks the first regular scheduled 787-10 Dreamliner to Nigeria.
BA passengers from Nigeria can now enjoy better deal with more comfort with the deployment of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the London-Lagos route.
The airline previously used a B777 aircraft on the route until October 30, 2023, when its Dreamliner made its maiden flight into the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The Boeing 787-10 is a mid-size, dual aisle, twin engine jet manufactured by Boeing, the American aerospace company.
The aircraft is 25 percent more fuel efficient than similar sized commercial jets it is designed to replace, and to date, is Boeing’s most fuel efficient aircraft.
The windows are over 30% larger than those on most similarly sized aircraft and the brightness can be adjusted at the touch of a button.
With the choice of First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller, there are personal audio and video on demand.
It presents an increased cabin comfort with large windows, higher humidity and lower pressurization.
The Boeing 787-10 is the largest aircraft within the 787 family with the longest body.
