Mrs. Evelyn Njoku

 

Mrs. Evelyn Njoku, a former Deputy General Manager, Public Affairs, Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), has been named new General manager of the department

Njoku, who received her appointment letter on Wednesday in Abuja at the Federal Ministry of Aviation, joined NAMA many years ago and was recently confered with the Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) after a rigorous presentation and other screening processes.

She was inaugurated during the NIPR Summit and Annual General Meeting at the International Conference Center in Abuja.

She attended the University of Maiduguri and bagged a BSc in Education Science in 1991 .

She thereafter, proceeded to the Federal Civil Aviation Authority (FCAA ) for the compulsory National Youth Service Corps between 1992-1993 and was afterwards, retained as Air transport officer on grade level 8 in 1993.

She was later deployed to theFederal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and subsequently to Nigerian Airspace Agency (NAMA) on January 1, 2000 where she works till date.

The President of Glowing Women in Aviation Nigeria chapter .also bagged an MBA in Marketing in 2007  and has beendeputy General manager since 2015 until February 2024, when assumed the position of General manager Public Affairs effective February 2024.

A member of the Nigerian Institute of marketing, Njoku has attended several aviation,and management trainings, both in Nigeria and overseas.
