Girls in Aviation Day 2024 was a remarkable success, driven by the dynamic leadership of Mrs. Evelyn Njoku, the president of the Women in Aviation: Glowing Wings chapter and GM Public Affairs, Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA).

Her unwavering commitment to empowering young women in aviation was the heart of the event, which encouraged girls to explore careers in aviation and aerospace.

Mrs. Njoku was also celebrated for her outstanding achievements and contributions to advancing the role of women in the industry.

“With leaders like us paving the way, the sky is not just the limit—it’s your playground.”, she said.

Under her visionary leadership, the event offered enriching experiences, including hands-on workshops, flight simulations, and a visit to the control tower at Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
