Arik Air said it has deployed additional aircraft for the 2023 hajj exercise and now wrapping up the airlift in Lagos, Abuja and Kano.

The airline also said it is working closely with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to ensure that all international pilgrims registered with the Association for Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria (AHUON) are transported within the time frame allotted for this year’s exercise.

It, again, apologised for the initial hitch experienced by passengers and expressed appreciation to NAHCO for its quick intervention.

“Already, we have deployed additional aircraft for the exercise and are now wrapping up the airlift in Lagos, Abuja and Kano.

“The initial hitch which occurred during the airlift is highly regrettable.

“We want to thank the leadership of NAHCON for its intervention and also appeal for the understanding of the pilgrims and Tour Operators., it said.
