Famous aviation expert and an All Progressives Congress chieftain, Comrade Isaac Balami has launched an empowerment programme for 160 Nigerian youths, in aviation.
This program he said is a way to celebrate his 40th birthday adding that rather than put a lavish celebration, he has decided to reflect deeply and then team up with friends planning to host a big birthday party for him and use the occasion to empower some 40 precious Nigerian lives each from the geo-political zones in four different aviation fields.
He said he will team up with his friends to empower 160 qualified Nigerians in different aviation trainings through the Isaac Balami Foundation(IBF) this year.
Balami, a youth leader and former Obi/Datti Deputy Campaign Manager recently dumped the Labour Party, LP, for the APC.
Posting on his X handle as part of his message to the youths and other close allies who have disclosed their plans to organize a huge birthday party for him, Balami, a former President of the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers said, with the with the current situation in Nigeria, it was better to plan for the future of the country’s Youths.
He is also the former President, Arewa Consultative Forum (youth wing) and a former spokesperson for Trade Union Congress (TUC).
Balami is a philanthropist with over 600 orphans and widows under the direct care of the Isaac Balami Foundation.
Balami is a recipient of over hundred local and international awards for his personal and career achievements.
