The Centre for International Advanced and Professional Studies (CIAPS), at the weekend, hosted Mr. Abiola Lawal, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Flyboku.com.
Flyboku.com is an online digital travel and tours management portal, launched two years ago.
The event at CIAPS, tagged “CEO @ CIAPS”, was part of the Centre’s initiative to facilitate contact between industry and academy, theory and knowledge.
It was an opportunity for students and graduates of CIAPS to meet employers and get a feel of the real world from experts who can mentor and guide CIAPS students and graduates.
Meanwhile, during the highly interactive and enlightening session, Lawal gave an overview of Flyboku, Ashton and Dave Travels and Quorum Aviation which are some of the companies he oversees.
He also lectured the students on general entrepreneurial techniques and how CEOs can be efficient and effective in their businesses.
The thrilled students asked questions on sundry issues, and expressed joy at meeting with a CEO who controls a big and fast growing brand in the travel and tourism world.
