The Nigeria College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) Zaria, has appealed to the minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Mr Festus Keyamo to give approval for the commencement of Drone training in the college.

The appeal was made in Lagos by Mrs. Stella Nwankwo, assistant chief planning officer, during the visit of the Permanent Secretary, ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Dr Emmanuel Meribole to NCAT’s exhibition stand at the ongoing 4th Drone Technology Conference And exhibition holding at the NIGAV centre, Lagos.

According to Nwankwo, all necessary arrangements have been put in place for the seamless take off of Drone training , adding that instructors have been trained by the purpose.

While listing the six schools in the college , she noted that it offers Post-graduate part time course in aviation management in Lagos and Abuja while it also offers Ordinary National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in engineering courses in Zaria.

An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone, is an aircraft without any human pilot, crew, or passengers on board.
