Our tour guide, Ms. Amira had told us a day before we visited the resorts that it is one of the world’s most visited centres because of the magnificent features that present tourists with a variety of entertainment and fun.
Excited, we set out the next day, to the centre from the Address Boulevard hotel where we were lodged and headed and on our way, Camila never stopped to tell how amazing the Dubai parks is and how well have an unforgettable experience at the end of the tour.
On getting to the entrance to the Parks, we were welcomed by one of the curators who took time to explain to us in details, the main features in the magnificent resorts.
After a detailed lecture, tickets for meals and adventures into some places in the resorts were handed to us as we made our way into the resort proper.
As the first integrated resort destination in the region, it is the home of three world-class theme parks and one water park, as well as Riverland Dubai, the grand entrance plaza, and a Polynesian themed family resort.
The Dubai parks and resorts mainly have the Legoland (Legoland Dubai and Legoland Waterparks), The Motiongate, The Bollywood parks and The Riverland.
The first point of call was the Riverland with a bold inscription in front of the Resorts. It serves as the gateway to the parks.

Tourists can take a walk along the river on a journey through time, where four different zones give a fascinating glimpse into some of the greatest eras of our past. The French Village, Boardwalk, India Gate, and The Peninsula.
We them proceeded to Legoland, where we were thrilled by the facilities for adventures for both old and young.
Amira had also inundated us with some exciting information on adventurous rides and others, including the Roller Coaster in the Legoland, some of us had entertained fear that they might not be able to ride on it.
But we made straight to the Roller coaster and I joined two other colleagues to catch a ride after watching with fun, the way other tourists rode on it.
Wow! it was hilarious riding on it for the first time. I had a nice time and story to tell other colleagues who were afraid to try it.
From there, we moved to the Kingdoms, a medieval land where one can sit in a car and conquer the exhilarating Dragon coaster through the King’s castle. Younger knights and princesses can also join in the fun and ride the Dragon’s Apprentice. Families up for the quest will love a quick whirl around Merlin’s Challenge.
The Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park are the ultimate destination in the Middle East for families with children from 2-12.
