Enugu Air has announced the launch of its regional flights between Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu in Enugu and Douala International Airport in Cameroon begining September 23, 2026.

Enugu Air Chief Operating Officer Mr Ugonna Agubuokwu announced the development in a statement on Sunday saying the new route is designed to connect businesses, families, and opportunities in the West African region..

“This is more than the introduction of a new route; it is about creating stronger connections between Nigeria and Cameroon and making regional travel more accessible, convenient, and seamless for our passengers,” he said.

He said  the airline will operate two weekly frequencies on Mondays and Wednesdays, adding that passengers from Lagos and Abuja can connect the flights via Enugu.

Reeling out the flight schedules, Agubuokwu said flights from Enugu will depart at 12:45 PM, arriving in Douala at 1:45 PM. The return leg from Douala is scheduled to leave at 2:30 PM and touch down in Enugu at 3:30 PM.

He said the timing of the schedules has been well thought out so that passengers can connect from Lagos and Abuja ‘for business, for opportunity, and for the connections that matter, Africa is closer than you think ‘.

The new Enugu-Douala connection further reinforces Enugu ‘s air ambition to make regional travel simpler and more connected.
