Following  Nigeria’s announcement of August 25, 2020 as the last day for evacuation flights in and out of the country,  Africa’s largest Airline, Ethiopian Airlines said it will be operating  its Last evacuation flight out of Nigeria on August 21.

 

The airline said it will resume regular operations when it receives the country opens its international airspace to flights.

 

Speaking for Ethiopian Airline, Tilahun Tadese said: ‘The Nigerian Government and the American Governments have relied on the Services of the Airline to Evacuate their Citizens from Lagos, Houston, Abuja and Newark . The Airline is Planning to Resume regular operations when Nigeria officially Opens its Airports for International Flights’.
