The former General Manager, Protocol and Passages, Mrs Faithful A. Hope-Ivbaze who doubled as the Acting Director of the Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has officially handed over to Mrs Obiageli Orah as the substantive Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection.
The event took place at the FAAN Headquaters at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
Mrs Faithful Hope-Ivbaze attained the position as Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection in acting capacity due to the exit of the Managing Director and all Directors of the Authority and other aviation parastatals, following the Federal government directive that the most senior officer in the department should take over based on the civil service rules of the federation.
She also handed over the Protocol and Passages department to Mrs. Christabel Eromosele to take charge as she retires from active service having attained the age of 60.
