The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has alerted the public to the hacking of the Facebook account belonging to the Managing Director/Chief Executive (MD/CE) Engr. Ahmed Umar Farouk.
The Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection (DPA), Alhaji Abdullah Musa, said the compromised account is associated with the username amagwandu5@yahoo.com.
This breach, he said poses serious concerns about potential fraudulent activities the hackers may conduct, urging the public to guard against scams, misinformation, and other malicious activities by the hackers.
The incident may result in false information, fraudulent solicitations, or other harmful actions by the hackers.
“The public is strongly advised to verify the authenticity of any communication or request from this Facebook account and avoid engaging with suspicious posts, messages, or requests for personal information or financial transactions.”, he said.
