The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), has predicted three-day dust haze and sunshine from Tuesday.
In the forecast outlook, sunny skies in hazy atmosphere is expected over the Northern region throughout the forecast period.
Slight Dust Haze is expected over the North Central regions throughout the forecast period.
According to the forecast, moderate Dust Haze with horizontal visibility of 2 – 5km is expected over the Inland States of the South throughout the forecast period. Few clouds in hazy atmosphere is expected over the Coastal cities of the country with prospects of afternoon/evening thunderstorms over parts of Bayelsa, Rivers, Delta and Lagos.
On Wednesday, Sunny skies in Hazy atmosphere is expected over the Northern region throughout the forecast period. Slight Dust Haze is expected over the North Central regions and the Inland States of the South throughout the forecast period.
Few clouds in hazy atmosphere is expected over the Coastal cities of the country with prospects of afternoon/evening thunderstorms over parts of Bayelsa, Rivers, Delta and Lagos.
On Thursday, Sunny skies in hazy atmosphere is expected over the Northern region throughout the forecast period.
Slight Dust haze is also expected over the North Central regions and the Inland States of the South throughout the forecast period.

expected over the Coastal cities of the country with prospects of afternoon/evening thunderstorms over parts of Bayelsa, Rivers, Delta and Lagos.
While issuing potential impact/ advisory, NiMet said Dust particles are in suspension, public should take necessary precautions.
It advises people with Asthma and other respiratory issues should be cautious of the present weather situations.
It advises airline operators to
get updated weather reports from NiMet for effective planning in their operations.
