XEJet Limited has announced plans to expand its international operations, with Saudi Arabia as its target.

The airline in a statement by Juliet Atikpekpe, its Brand & Communications Manager, said it  is introducing new aircraft to support the expansion as it works towards first quarter of 2027 for the launch.

“The airline is targeting the business and leisure market in addition to Umrah, which can be performed at any time of the year; therefore, demand does not depend on a single season. The new aircraft give XEJet the seat capacity and cabin space that a long international sector needs, and they are the reason the airline is able to take this step. Route details, including the Saudi airports to be served, schedules, and fares, will be announced separately. Services will begin subject to regulatory approvals in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.

XEJet said it will also add to its network inside Nigeria.

The airline launched Abuja to Gusau flights in October in partnership with the Zamfara State Government, with services on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and more domestic routes are planned.

“Saudi Arabia is the first international market; business, leisure, and Umrah travel are the key sectors to be served, and we are confident that there is year-round demand between the two key city pairs. The new aircraft will give us the capacity and the right cabin mix for that sector. At home, we are adding routes so that passengers in more Nigerian cities can connect to it. We will also be boosting connectivity during the upcoming Christmas and New Year period. We will share schedules and fares as soon as the approvals are in place.”,  Sukhjinder Mann, Group Chief Operating Officer of XEJet said.

XEJet is a premium airline serving the Nigerian market, focused on delivering high-end aviation services. With a dedication to excellence, XEJet operates a modern fleet and provides exceptional service tailored to meet the needs of its discerning clientele.
