The President, Executives and Members of the Aviation Safety Round Table Initiative, generally known as ART, has acknowledge and commended the Air Peace Airline Chairman, Allen Onyema and his Staff for the humanitarian gesture of extending their services to airlift home the Nigerian victims of the Xenophobia in South Africa.

The airline commenced the airlift free of charge last week after it was revealed that many Nigerians were willing to leave South Africa due to the impact of the Xenophobia.

“We join other Nigerians to extend gratefulness for the invaluable services and initiative of kindness rendered to fellow Nigerians in their time of needs, when others are still contemplating.

“We pray to God to reward every member of your flight crew and ground staff that are involved in the airlifting operations, with God’s kindness and blessings from the abundance of His riches. For the Chairman in particular, may God reward your kind initiative for doing something nice to people who need our help most at the time of their needs. Your gesture is a commendable good service of Corporate Social Responsibility that deserves a national recognition”, the group said in a statement signed by Group Capt. John Ojikutu, its Secretary General.
