Officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Friday, visited both the headquarters and annexes of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) and interrogated some top officials of the Agency.
The Travel Port learnt that the officials’ visit burst a meeting that was to hold between the managing director, Ibrahim Abdusalam and staff of the department of human resources.
It was learnt that their visit was unconnected with allegations of award of contract without due process.
A source told The Travel Port that the ‘officials might have visited the Agency over dealings of immediate past management in the handling of some contracts, I am sure that is one of the reasons they came apart from some other current issues which are still coming to the open. The whole issue started from the Total Radar Coverage of Nigeria (TRACON) which was solely under last administration.
The Travel Port learnt that as at the time of filling this report, the anti-graft officials were still in the Agency.
