Rotimi Amaechi, Transportation Minister, may have on Wednesday, appointed an acting managing director in the person of Emmanuel Anasi, director of Engineering, to direct affairs in Agency pending conclusion of the grilling of the former MD and three other directors currently in the EFCC net.
The Travel Port gathered that Amaechi visited the Agency where he held a meeting with the directors.
Officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), had last Friday, visited both the headquarters and annexes of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) and interrogated some top officials of the Agency.
The Travel Port learnt the managing director, Ibrahim Abdusalam, directors of finance and procurement and General manager, finance of the Agency were whisked away over alleged award of contract without due process.
But when The Travel Port put a call through to the spokesperson of NAMA, Olajumoke Adetona to confirm, her number was switched off.
