A middle-aged man was on Wednesday afternoon, confirmed dead aboard Arik Air’s Owerri-Lagos flight on arrival at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.
Ola Banji, Arik Air spokesman said he was confirmed dead by doctors on arrival at the Airport.
He said the passenger boarded the flight from Owerri in the company of a relative, adding that he only ‘started showing signs of uneasiness midway into the flight.
“The body of the man has been deposited in the mortuary by the Police while investigation into the immediate cause of death is ongoing”, he said.
